I was looking at the link you posted, the prototype car image below looks very much like the F112(except the nose and front wing). Lets hope all the people that put an effort in the car get rewarded with some amazing results

Thats the F111 you can tell by the nose... but also HRT are using that front wing on the F112 atm..
What is this model made from ? looks like not carbon fibre

Must be as the website for the company http://www.dash-cae.co.uk/index.html say they do rapid prototypes.

Thay will probably add the Williams 2011 KERS package there as well. May be worth 4 thenths in higher up cars, but will be worth more lap time in a slower car.

I was thinking new nose, front wing and KERS.

Sauber-sidepod-wings should also be quite easy to implement.

I was thinking a new front wing, revised sidepods and close to definitive exhaust posistion, new floor and KERS finally bolted into the car. With the car loosing weight as well, and a few mechanichal improvements to the suspension like J Dampers and other things they cant run, not to mention opening up the data channels on the SECU as this can be worth more time than an actual performance part as it gives better understanding of the car.

There has been a rumor that there is a F112B (Or as HRT call their B Specs, F112 Plus/F112+) on the way that is lighter than the present F112 tubs.

Not necessarily... not if they can't package it in an effective manner, and finding space for the battery pack and control unit as well as cooling it effectively is something it took the top teams a while to get right.

additionally, it could just cause even more headaches for a team struggling to get on the starting grid. Don't forget about red bull's troubles with KERS at the start of last year.

Just saw a small video showing the car exhausts and they are a bit sloppy, also were "hand tweaked" adding some plating for better heat protection, so thats definitely an area of improvement. Also the nose and front wing is dated, but that's difficult to replace as affects the overall air flow of the car, so new nose cone and front wing means practically a new all around body design. There is time to be gained in the car for China and Bahrain, but a B spec, If can be tested at Mugello, makes a lot of sense.

That would be great if it happens... in regards to the quote from Holzer saying the tub is too heavy, can we have a brand new one in the middle of the season? and will Holzer do this for free if it was their "mistake"?

I regards to the KERS packaging, I know Williams helped HRT on this as it is their KERS they are using.. and the F112 has been designed with KERS in mind.

De la Rosa said that the car was designed to have KERS on it. They decided not to use it so they could understand the car better without woreying about problems with KERS. I think that was a clever move, after seeing some problems in Australia and Malaysia.

Noe, let's see what they can do on China. They should be able to put more miles on free practices and prepare pit stops, because De la Rosa said that they didn't do any tyre change until the race

Also, today it was a good race. Both cars ended just two laps back. It's a good result. Without the drive through to Pedro, he could have been closer to the Marussia and in front of Narain

The KERS should be on the cars in Mugello... its give the team a good idea before on how the car is working, using all the testing to put upgrades on the car and KERS.

HRT obviously knew they where not going to have pre season testing, so they took the KERS of the car ready for when put it on soon.
