All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

Does anybody know a good manual that explains how F1 engineers can come to an 'ideal' setup using the data given in graphs
like;

- suspension travel
- ride hight
- G Forces
- Speed
- Gearing
- ....

There's Racecar Dynamics by the Millikens (father and son? somebody corrected me before) that explains some of the stuff engineers would go through in building and setting up a car. But it's over a 1000 pages and around 100 bucks... it reads like an engineering textbook, but is not too complicated.

Unfortunately I've only read about 200 pages and stopped so I forgot what's in the book
