Good question. Is there any actual rule that stipulates no work can be at all?

That's always been something that confuses me. Sure RBR as a team shuts down their factory - but what about the Red Bull Technology factory, for example? Virgin Wirth research? Etc etc

Just read some of the posts on here and it does make me smile,hard worked ? near burn out ?
God how we managed a few years ago when it was thur-sun with several engine changes (3 a day in the turbo days) and a couple of all nighters ?
Life now in F1is EASY all the systems are broken down and people look after each little part,I know 1 team thats got 7 people doing the job that 2 of us use to manage a few years ago

Well, when I was young, we used to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before we went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty nine hours a day down't mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill uss and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.
