The fact that it could have caught under his wheels and caused damage or and accident with his car and the fact that another car could have driven over.onto it while he was circling around.
Nothing against him, it's just it was dangerous and he should have had to come in and had it removed.

They allow carbon fiber to litter the track. So why not astro turf. I also read that India may use some as well.

It wasn't that it was debris on track but rather that he was dragging it around with him....Normally you're not allowed to drag stuff from your car like that...usually they make you come in and remove it and that's what should have been done.

I am sure they were communicating with the Mclaren team and Hamilton had things under control so there was no need to black flag.

This is one skirt that won't help the down-force. If it was a rigid skirt that is a different story.

And what would they communicate?
Ya can't drive around trailing either parts of the car or the track.
It was a dangerous situation.

Not to mention that astroturf could have been re-used had he not damaged it lap after lap. He really has no respect, not even for astroturf :)
"There is a credit card with the Ferrari logo, issued by Santander, which gives the scuderia a % of purchases made with the card...

I would guess that such a serious amount of money would allow them to ignore the constant complains of a car that was nowhere near as bad as their #1 driver tried to sell throughout the season.

Heck, a car on which Massa finishes in the podium or has to lift so that his teammate finishes ahead (As we saw often in the final races of the year) is, by no means, a "bad" car."
