It's ok. Schu had it coming. Karma's a bitch, you know?

But next year, mmm, next year will be so sweet.

Not his best one as he already passed away a while ago. It is one of his closest friends that has passed away! It is just as bad. Really pretty that he dedicated his 3rd place to his friend and showed respect by not spraying the champagne. He drove a great race, especially if you keep in mind what happened with him this week

can i just say that Schumacher has changed!, The old Schumi in the same situation would of tried to crashed into Alonso, so that he still had a chance to win the WC. But Today he accepted the problem and bowed out. He is has regained my respect.
Good fight ferrari! But finaly the luck was on Renaults side!

Nah... his steering rack just got jammed

Seriously, I don't think you should make a conclusion yet. If he had taken Alonso out of race he still wouldn't have won the title. The race in Brazil will show it all.

You know I was saying to my wife after the 2nd pitstops that if Michael finished 1st and Fernando 2nd, it's all over. And bang! The next lap, wow, the season really was all over.

After the finish, I switched to Bathurst for the thrilling finish. And later tonight, it's A1GP. What a happy weekend!

Very unlucky for MS, he was clearly going to win.

One thing I did like was the fact he didn't storm off to the motorhome crying. He went and said thanks to all thr team. What a true pro and a gent.

:P Obviously I'm extremly happy with the result today, especially after all the bad luck and cheating game the team had suffered from since the mid season.

Is it necessary to say how exeptionnal Fernando was today? I don't think so. Saddly, another fight was determined by a mechanical incident, but after Hungary and Monza, I think it's safe to call it fair.

But I'd like also to say that Michael Schumacher, appart from driving superbly, gained some respect in my mind for his behavior today. The man didn't give the slightiest hint of trying a dirt steering wheel move at one crucial moment, and God know how much of an occasion he had to do so. Furthermore, in the coldness of disapointment, he acted very proffesionaly, calmy walking back to the pits, and cheering his engineers warmly despite the engine failure. In that I have to concede that he showed what he have more than the youngsters, which is obviously maturity.

That said, Fernando is a 25 year old champion, with enormous pressure on his shoulders, and I don't concede anything to those who try to drag him in the dirt just for not hiding the hot latin blood he is mad of.

Special congratulations also for the BMW Sauber team, I think we all seen the same retransmition, and I hope you heard the radio communication made to Robert Kubica near the end. For those who didn't, he was simply told to go all out for P8, which was held by Heidfeld. That's the good spirit! The total opposite of dirty teams orders. But the german drove cleanly and saddly we didn't see if it was a tight fight or not, because the realisation switched to Alonso's parade lap.

What happened to Albers? Was it a suspention failure that destroyed the wing or did the wing attachement point broke?

Lol! As you see I've erased my question after I seen the answear was made while I was writing. But of course it was a joke  (which doesn't change the fact the marseillaise is a revolutonary song with violent text that I feel isn't appropriate anymore by ours days...The melody sucks too IMO, but when it celebrates a Renault win, that's always good!)

Another race worth getting up for........good drives from the two guys FA & MS. Total shame that MS's engine went bang; but it gave the result I hoped for.

FA deserved a little luck to fall his way.

If MS loses the title in Brazil; instead of looking back to Suzuka - he should remember Monaco & Hungary where he wasted points for sure.

In a perverse way it underlines how amazingly reliable the Ferrari has been for YEARS 8)

PS - Kimi  8) 8)

Big success for Toyota as well! Double points finish, it has been a while since that last happened! And what about the Super Aguri's? Sato 15th, nice and Yamamoto's 2nd finish and that in front of their home crowd! Must feel amazing! With all those Japanese flags waving around.

The most funny thing to see today was Alonso's victory dance! I should take some dance classes with him! Just loved it :P
