Perhaps you shouldn't... there is
no authority in engineering.
It's easy to check José Froilán González. He missed Monaco the only time he raced there.
Stirling Moss missed Bremgarten, but he also raced once there. He did not reach first place, but podium at every venue. On the other hand he won Pescara. You could also argue he never reached podiums in Goodwod, Heysel Park, Syracuse, Solitudering or Snetterton, but, believe me, you shouldn't do that either: those were non-championship races.
I do not have the time to check Ayrton Senna, but perhaps someone has. After all, he was another South American (ergo, his Kung Fu was strong).
You could also check Alberto Ascari, although I know he missed Pedralbes (fourth place in two attempts) and Indy (miserable 31st, only time he raced there).
Mario Andretti had the worst of lucks at Monaco, as Jim Clark.
Graham Hill failed at Portugal.
I would also check Denny Hulme and, people...
Who could forget John Love? He
almost only raced (several times) at South Africa GP, but the guy from Bulawayo, Rhodesia, ended his 1967 race in SECOND place and only because he had to pit seven laps from the end... in a car he had built and tuned... walking through snow and rain, barefoot, hungry and shivering (I'm joking, of course: there is no tuning in South Africa).
That was huge news when I was starting to follow F1. Of course, he fvcked up when he tried to race in Italy... and he did not qualify. Darn. I'd blame the ragazzas. Just look at Berlusconi if you don't believe me.
