In the Merc case we even have three times the votes against team orders than for team orders. Even in the Red Bull case a clear majority of voters do not agree with the team order being issued.
So you are not surprised.
I'm very surprised given the facts that have arisen in Mercedes AMG's case. Both drivers would have run out of fuel if they continued to race and jockey for position.
Had the order not come in, Mercedes Hamilton and Rosberg would all have a serious case of egg on face.
Hamilton demonstrated he could pass Rosberg if fuel saving was not an issue. 3 times.
Rosberg demonstrated he could pass Hamilton 3 times but not make it stick.
Kudos to Rosberg for being able to live with Hamilton. Kudos to Hamilton for being able to retake position when fuel save mode was ignored.
Kudos to Mercedes for bringing both drivers home.
