Mercedes AMG F1 W04

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Depends where exactly it got stuck, but with some bad luck it stalls your whole wing. I can believe that.

mmm at moment i can see only this. They have the same front and rear wings, "bulgered" nose and same things of Singapore. If they have something new, we will see tomorrow in FP1 and FP2. But i don't think so.

Do you guys reckon that's possible?
It doesn't make sense to lose that much time in my mind
No that´s obviously a load of .....

People have lost whole elements and was reported to lose a couple of tenths per lap on more downforce demanding circuits then this which mostly is about mechanical grip.

RBR seems to have 2 solutions in order to cope with that problem:
1) little vanes between the first and the second FW flaps :

2) ... greasing the FW flaps (sorry for the poor footage):

In the matter of updates they are still upgrading their facilities at Brackley:

I did, IMHO they might be betting on it for next year as drag/limted fuel will be crucial than ever.

Vettel Vs Alonso Vs Rosberg. Different heights in the nose and on the rear wing.

Funny how much less wing RB can run and still be competitive in high DF sections.
