No, because it's a very poorly concealed knowledge that Mercedes will have a big advantage next year.
"Very poorly concealed knowledge"? Could you provide a link? Some details? Not attacking you, just would like to read more on this point.

I dont possess this knowledge. Could you please enlighten me in what this big advantage is??

If your answer is going to be 100hp advantage then dont answer at all.

I'd suggest you try and get hold of one of Sky's practice coverages with Antony Davidson on...

Just rampant rumors. The engine regulations should keep performance numbers relativelly close between the three.

It´s not even rumors. It´s a media train because Mercedes have said 2014 is their do or die year. '
I´ve said it before but it´s like everyone assumes Mercedes will be the team to beat next year.
That would be great but even if the engine is the best, they won´t be alone in having it.

Yep and the fact that even though Kubica was already a genuine front runner before his move, it was very entertaining to watch him in that Renault in 2010 competing with the front runners as the underdog pretty much. Much what I'm expecting what Hulk will do if he's in a similar car next year.

Lotus seems to have sorted out the financial backing for the future so I'm expecting a Grosjean and Hülkenberg announcement soon.

It's not knowledge unless it's laptimes from the car running on track. Otherwise it's just speculation at best, rumors at worst.

Back on the driver market, rumours in Holland that Marcel Boekhoorn is considering buying Wolffs Williams shares which would see his son-in-law Van der Garde in there, presumably replacing Bottas.

I can't stand it  comparing Hulkenberg to Kubica is the biggest insult ever. If RK started F1 career by being comprehensively outpaced and outraced by ancient Barrichello, BMW corporate fools that wasted their FP on Vettel and even after 2008 winter tests questioned his position, would fire him mid season.

These highlight races by NH everyone is salivating about was a regular boring day at the office for RK a 99% of F1 world wouldn't even notice. Hell, most of them almost dismissed the whole season (2008) where 80% of it was better than anything NH ever did. Don't even get me started with 2009 or 2007 and "conclusions" drawn from them. The fact that 2010 Renault was worse than best BWMs and no better than current Sauber most of the time is a different matter, that's where full team's backing came into equation.

Anyway... :) and going back to current season and buzz that surrounds Hulkenberg, here's an interesting claim: http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns26582.html The problem, Surer explained, is that Hulkenberg would replace the underperforming Sergio Perez, while McLaren and Honda hope to sign Fernando Alonso for 2015. "So they would not give anyone a long-term contract because they are holding a place (for 2015) open," he said. "I wouldn't go to McLaren for just one year. I'd rather go to Lotus," said Surer.

Really? NH would decline "one year contract" with possibility to prove himself in a bigger team and with a chance of extension or strong possibility if you exclude "hope"? Of course it's media's usual playing with rumours, true or not let's repeat it if they fit our agenda, of course it's easy to make decisions for someone else and decline offers no one gave NH. Frankly, I don't think he would decline McLaren's offer.

Autosport is saying Hulk is first pick for Lotus if they can get their financial situation sorted out like they expect to do.

Massa and Magnussen are in the mix, too.

Mclaren must still be trying to get Alonso to sign early for 2015. They haven't tied up contracts with Perez or Button yet. So perhaps Hulk is in the mix there as well.

If this deal materializes, VDG will be in the Williams with large McGregor logos emblazoned on the car.

Still writing this drivel I see? Kubica wasn't entirely convincing against Nick Heidfeld a lot of the time but it was pretty obvious who was heading where for those who knew what to look for. Ditto Hulkenberg.

Oh and I'm sorry, but not only is Alonso McLaren bound in 2015 they will also be spending some time right now trying to bring that forward.

I don't even know what that means. Alonso what? It's difficult to manage to put less substance and more randomness in so many words. BTW regards to mutual backslapping society that prefers cowardly and lazy "internet points" instead of putting thoughts into sentences, which I thought is the idea of forums.

It's not like Hulkenberg isn't drving well, he is, the problem is that reaction is at inappropriately hysteric level compared to achievements.

Examples? Singapore 2010 was dismissed as fresh tyres with grip advantage instead of praised as a classic overtaking clinic that it was. Bridgestones (I thought they were indestructible?), 6th best car (yes) and finish at 7th position. In Japan Gutierrez was seventh and perfect 10/10 Hukenberg sixth. What exactly was so exceptional about it if Gutierrez managed only one place lower?

Judging by current hype If NH did half of it in 2013 the world of F1 would explode with new Senna, Schumacher and Holy Batman on a Stick comparisons whereas in 2010 it was indifference mixed with conditional approval. Three years later overtaking is said to be very difficult in Singapore.

The 2010 Renault was the 6th best car? Don't make me laugh. It was an equal 4th at worst.

Kobayashi overtook Alonso and Buemi on the final lap in Valencia that year on fresher tyres. That's a circuit with even fewer overtaking opportunities than Singapore. So you are telling us that fresh tyres had nothing to do with Kobayashi's moves or Kubica's?
