Just a thought

This move doesn't enhance the last race : it just devalues the rest of the season.
The sport exists as we know it today because of us, the fans.Just_a_fan wrote:Why should they consult the fans? F1 isn't a democracy. There should be a transparency in the process rather than what is happening now.
FIA has now beyond dought crossed the line into comedy.
The first post in this thread says it all. Next we will have "The Chase", just like NASCRAP!This is such a gimmick, makes a joke of the sport.

Oh don't be silly. You know, there was a time I was a narrow minded F1 fan and thought NASCAR was junk and never watched it. Tell you what man, there's a lot of really good side-by-side racing, passes and tight championship battles.MOWOG wrote:The first post in this thread says it all. Sorry, but that was spoken like a true NASCAR fan... The truth is that since 2005 (the year after NASCAR implemented "The Chase" in 2004), both TV ratings and admissions revenues for NASCAR have declined over 40%. Implementing "The Chase" has been a failed gimmick for NASCAR. I can't see it ending any better for F1.Jersey Tom wrote:Oh don't be silly. There *are* things F1 could learn or consider from NASCAR. Chase format certainly isn't bad, makes things interesting without being completely ridiculous.
