Presumably because the mounting points are not where they were meant to be... But the car was meant to have been fired up days ago, what's going on here?wesley123 wrote:how can an engine not fit in a chassis?
Cause their roadcar will be/is called CT-04.n smikle wrote:For anyone who can answer. Why is the car called CT-05??? was there a CT-04 that was scrapped or what? Or did Marrusia purchase the Ct-04?
All Renault teams (and I presume all other teams with different engines) are provided with an accurate fully built sample of their engine. but looking at the "design" of the caterham, it would appear that different designers worked on different areas, so probably it was the ancilliaries such as rads, coolers etc, that caused any fitment problem.n smikle wrote:They must have tried to fit it with the turbo on. At Redbull they fitted the engine first then the turbo and anciliaries.
