As for the engine swap instead of 2hrs. last year now they need a whooping 6 hrs. to do that !!
So if are doing that at FP1 you could miss FP2, or if you are at FP3 you could miss Qualy, so it`s a very important year in terms of reliability of the power-train ...
Bear in mind that this is probably only the third or fourth time that the mechanics have stripped down the car and rebuilt it. A lot of these times will improve with familiarity with the parts and the layout.
Sure they improve but still if you don't create the PU in clever way you will suffer. I mean even now on some normal cars you need to remove whole light before you're able to change a bulb in it. You can improve you "change the bulb time" but still be slower than the kind with back access removable cover. I don't say Mercedes is this case.
