The absolute opposite of Fernando in that area. Interesting how it can be relevant in future ierations of the car.
Nobody ever said that Fernando likes a lack of feel. He just prefers a car that under steers slightly more than most with front end grip being progressive so he can feel the limit but enough of that. Off topic.
Well, the opposite of Rakkonen is not somebody that likes a very picky lack of feel, but somebody that doesn't
care about these things.
Fernando is known for being very adaptative and sometimes in a bad way, as he will race the car anyway saying it's fine if the car is raceable. I don't remember exactly where I got that, but it has been more than a couple of times, and from his former engineers.
Former engineers of Kimmi have said just the contrary. He will go back to his hospitality without fringing if the car is low on certain specificities he wants. I think it hapenned recently at Renault.
This could influence the way next developments are dealt, because they will have a very different feedback from one of the drivers, asking for key elements that are very specific and even counter-intuuitive. Kubica had that too.
Not off topic, because I'm not focusing my atention on the drivers, but on the type of feedback they tend to give.
