Pffft.
No it wouldn't. Things break off easily because they take a large part of the energy in a impact. If it wouldn't the driver would take all the Gs which in most cases would mean serious injuries.mzso wrote: Make a decent "wing-car" formula, where the body covers the wheels. And do it properly, make it as strong as the monocoque, so yo wouldn't get large broken pieces on mild contact. And it would be safer too.
Di Grassi is a lowly person. Torpedoing Buemi on purpose. Than even trying to block his fastest lap attempts...domh245 wrote:Well, the championship is over, and was decided by a fastest lap after the 2 contenders got taken out in the first corner. An absolutely mad race
You're very wrong. If things break off easily they don't absorb energy. eg: front wings.wesley123 wrote:No it wouldn't. Reiterating it won't make it less wrong. But seriously how much energy does a wing absorb when it breaks of from even a slight touch.wesley123 wrote:In collision these flimsy things absorb a lot of energy.
Wings does not absorb any energy. Well they obviously do, but the energy they absorb is negligible in an accident.wesley123 wrote:Quite a lot actually. It's the whole reason as to why bodywork is so "weak". In an accident, most of the energy gets absorbed through the destruction of this bodywork.
Because of this, the parts are fairly weakthis snd thus get knocked off fairly easily in a slight collision.
I never would've expected DI Grassi's behavior, especially after he refused team orders designed to help him.mzso wrote:Di Grassi is a lowly person. Torpedoing Buemi on purpose. I hope he and the team gets a one year suspension.
You don't even have to start it. It's right on the video still.
