Hi all, Tomba is on his way back from Cologne and there will be coming a lot of pictures onine in our gallery in the coming hours. He also sounded very happy with the interviews he conducted. They will come online later tonight. Of course, as we got sent to Cologne as representatives of RCE, we have to see what we can already put online and what has to be published in RCE first !

I have to say that I'm really happy that Toyota seems to have understand the message and that they have made a complete new car! I'm convinced that with Trulli and Glock, they can make their way back to the frontrunners in F1.

.....meanwhile F2008 has a 'bump' there. I think it's because of the minimum bodywork width in that area imposed by the regulations. Check this out.

The engine cover spine is really thin the dimensional fins are much bigger than the MP4-22

On a better note, the car does look like it might work. Scarbs that first pic in your gallery of the front wing, where the wing flap adjuster is (should be?) its rather round (lumpy?) errr whats up with that?

Tomba has done such a good job that I want all the stuff he's sent me for the mag! I think you'll see more of his work in RCE in the future if its all to this standard!

I think the lump is the tyre temp sensor, but also the wing adjuster itself often sticks out of the sid eof the endplate.

Scarbs, have Toyota ditched the upright mounted pushrod which used to look to have a significant lateral, as well as longlitudinal offset from the steer axis? It's hard to see in the photos but to me the pushrod angles would suggest so?

There's certainly a lot less offset, but the actual mounting of the pushrod coudln't be seen clearly. Pascal told me the suspension geomtry had'nt changed a lot from 2007, which is contradictory.

Predicting that most teams will increase their wheelbase, does this mean they'll all be as incompetent at overtaking as Ferrari were last season?

IMHO the TF108 does look much better than its predecessors, but somehow the sidepods still look really big to me... (cf. the ones on F2008, although the sidepod inlets on the ferrari looks bigger, the ferrari ones just look way slimmer by having much more undercut)

I do hope that toyota does better and mix up the field a little bit more
