The evolution is there, 30 laps= red flag, 15 laps= red flag..........so in Australia 5 laps and DNF(a single one because the history will be repeated and Vandoorme won´t begin the race).BosF1 wrote:I have no hope whatsoever regarding a decent points finish for the first couple of races now. I do hope they will actually finish races, which seems highly unlikely now. We're at the ending of testing and the problems just seem to be getting worse instead of less.
Renault, FI and Hass look about 1,5 faster so i dont see that happening ATMAlonso Fan wrote:If they qualify In 10th or 11th in Australia I will be happy even if they double dnf.
That's because then we will know that they have a solid base and the engine is the main problem. When the engine improves, the car will improve and hopefully become contenders for regular points
MCL32 was started in middle 2015. If it is as good as McLaren think it is, then why wait until 2019.namao wrote:The most inteligent thing McLaren Honda have to do, if they want to win, is stop the current development of the MCL32 and MCL33, and invest all the resources to design, test and develop the 2019 car, with the engine in top of the list.
Those 2 years can be used to test for the 2019's car.
