I don't know what some of the researchers who make these robots are thinking. Do people really have the money/time/inclination to talk to a mentally challenged artificial human? What's wrong with talking to real humans? It will take so much time before a robot could say anything interesting, and by then, why do we care? We already take human life for granted, why do we need artificial humans?“iCub will take us a stage forward in developing robots as social companions.
There's no problemBelatti wrote:Whats the problem with Massa? Why is he so underrated and ignored by everyone?
It definately looked like the jockey of the future! That is what led me to post about it... lolmeves wrote:Designers will be up in arms over that, all the weight is at the top. Surely they should have put its brains in its backside... It'd be more like a racing driver too then.
It would seem to me that when most modern people see a person who is willing to be self-less in order to aid in a greater cause they see them as weak or as a person who is not capable of being a true champion. Whether Massa is a "great" driver or not, he is a noble and humble person, and that should speak more about a person than how many championships they have.Belatti wrote:Whats the problem with Massa? IMO..definitely will not be as supportive as Ruben to Ferrari for MS.teecof1fan wrote:so a question to everyone: is he going to end up second to Kimi like Rubens was to Michael?? I invite comments on that one!![]()
Personally, I think Massa won't be able to match Kimi...
Anyway, cheers everyone! Enjoy the weekend!![]()
** Yes the team caused quali problems but he started 14th and only finished 13th--not exactly a great drive
