Could be a temporal comeback until Honda builds a good PU? it could easy the pressure over Mclaren but I dont if this can happen.
If that were to happen, i think it is a bad move.
Then there are just another customer team, maybe a deal with VAG group would be the better long term deal if they realy want to part with Honda.
I recently was thinking about a comment that Ross Brawn made about his Honda years.
Something about the chassis department vs the engine department.
They were blaming each other, but in the end it was the engine that was lacking.
Brawn made sure everybody knew what must be done in order to win again.
I think this project started with the wrong leadership in place, whitout a good solid plan.
The recources are there, there are very good and talented people in Japan.
Aswell within Mclaren, but this is spiralt out of control. If we believe the media, then the reationship between Mclaren and Honda is beyond repair, that would be pretty dire and unproffesional imo.
I must admit, i am very glad that Brown is at the helm of Mclaren now, i am happy how he acts towards the media regarding the isseus. Must also be a "relief" for the men and women who are working relentless on the engine side.
Regarding Alonso, i get his frustration.
But common, he also could be taking the time to motivate people, especially now when i pressume moral is at a low, maybe just as low as his own moral. I hate it, just as much in his last year at Ferrari. Maybe behind the scenes it is differant, i hope so. It is so sad to see and hear.
I love watching him wrestle a F1 car, it is spectacular, and amazing to see what he can do in a racing car.
Only i wish they were competitive again, performance wil fix everything.
