This would be funny if McLaren hadn't gotten rid of the Mercedes PU deal at the beginning of this new regulation era. I'm not sure if Zak doesn't know that or if perhaps he's doing all he can to keep up spirits. Regardless, you can't sell now the idea that they'd be winners if only they had the Merc PU, when the rationale for getting rid of the Merc PU was due to the fact they felt they'd never be able to get on par with the works teams.

@ZakB why didnt you told us you were working on this?
In the begining it was because the others had started the development three years later, now it's because of the tokens... They can have the Money, the resources, but it seems that they will have this engine working properly by the time it will be replaced.
Unless we dont know when the development started.....Vasconia wrote: ↑19 Jul 2017, 15:32Man, there are so many optimistic people in the world.GoranF1 wrote: ↑19 Jul 2017, 13:51https://twitter.com/hlawiczka/status/887613953056100352

At least they 3-4 seasons to develop a good engine. They could make a good job, it can´t be worse than Honda.
He really Sounds like a Saint when he says that right....?

135 laps.. Not bad, right?
How about we stop with this rubbish, eh? Everyone knows Mclaren is sticking with Honda, Ferrari/Merc not interested and Renault engine isn't good enough to win races. Better to stop the Mclaren to Mercedes, Mclaren to Renault junk rumors.
