Alonso moving to indy for a year would be the best for all parties involved. Let Honda work in peace for a year and then come back in 2019 for one final push to the title. Mclaren already has button on it's payroll.
wich means Mclaren actually use Alonso as a tool to put pressure on Honda
Removing Alonso won´t make things easier for Honda, only a performing PU will make things easier for Honda
I said this earlier as well, McLaren made the choice to go to Honda. They're being paid a fortune for it as well. I understand the bad PR at the start of the year but it's honestly getting boring and pitiful.
You are also living in a fool's paradise if you feel removing Alonso won't solve the issue. Honda aren't on the Merc-Ferrari PU level and having a low key, young driver certainly makes the media management a no-issue
Obviously it´s you who is living in a fool´s paradise
, as you´re specifically saying with a low key driver there would be no Honda bashing, so you assume McLaren would be happy and quiet with current PU if their drivers were Vandoorne and Norris for example
That´s how you rate McLaren, a team who wouldn´t complain if they finish 9th (2015), 6th (2016) and 9th(currently) in the WCC due to a poor PU?

It's interesting though that you say McLaren use Alonso to bad mouth Honda. Just out of curiosity I wanted to ask you, did Ferrari also intentionally use Alonso to put pressure on themselves?
Sorry but I don´t like comparing apples to oranges
Can you point me to some rant from Alonso in his days in red comparable to GP2 engine, or this is embarrasing? Not even the rant frequency is comparable, when in Ferrari he was a perfect team player in first 2-3 seasons, it´s only after loosing 2010 and 2012 titles in the final sprint when he became frustrated.
Anycase I´ll wait until you point me to some radio comunication wich is comparable before replying

As I said in my earlier post, McLaren is a legendary team that deserves to be at the front.
... but must be quiet if some of their partners make them finissh 9th when they should never be below 3th
Sorry schuttelberg but that´s not coherent
