That's interesting wording...will they be using them in the car then? Or using them to lubricate something else at the development centre??bblundell72 wrote: ↑16 Feb 2018, 20:37Force India has confirmed a new partnership with lubricants specialists RAVENOL for the 2018 Formula 1 season. sounds like the same like RoshFrans.adrianjordan wrote: ↑16 Feb 2018, 23:35That's interesting wording...will they be using them in the car then? BWT is Austrian not german, btw.Manoah2u wrote: ↑17 Feb 2018, 00:01sounds like the same like RoshFrans.adrianjordan wrote: ↑16 Feb 2018, 23:35That's interesting wording...will they be using them in the car then? they're not on the website anymore - i must say i'm not aware since how long.
I know they made the multi-year deal back in 2014 and 2015.
In 2016 Quaker State took over from Roshfrans, and also supplied them in 2017

'Ravenol' is simply the 'new' supplier after RoshFrans and then Quaker State.
Roshfrans didn't 'supply' the F1 car engines with actual motor oil lubricants (neither did Quaker State) - that doesn't mean however that they are a name only. Many parts need lubrification. Something as simple as the steering wheel column. So at the very least that's what will be.....lubrificated.
Ravenol is a german brand, and i think it's not too far fetched to see that BWT [ a german brand ] probably has been a 'catalyst' in bringing Ravenol to them/attracting attention.

For a British drinks company I have never heard of them before had a quick Google they don't seem to be a massive operation
lol.
This young British race driver is the next big thing. Having dominated Formula 3 he is now winning races for Lamborghini in the Trofeo series and has very serious aspirations to race in F1. Fuelled by Rich Energy.

the livery would surely be a JPS-style black and gold, so that would mean an end so soon to BWT?!!

would also mean we're going to see Toby Sowery in F1
lol.http://richenergy.com/wp-content/upload ... ropped.jpg

They're partners with Mercedes already. Would surely mean exit Perez, enter Sowery alongside Ocon - unless Ocon moves to AMG fast.
it must be said though, sounds a pit posh all of it. some 'unknown' 6-year old energy drinks company that is able to cough up enough money to buy force india?
actually, it means well...worse
Looks like my girlfriends leg shaver lolRaleigh wrote:Livery looks a lot better than last year, if you are going to have a pink car it should at least be bold.
I like it as well. I love this team for being so colourful in F1, they have always been like that. Not only on- but also off the track.Raleigh wrote: ↑26 Feb 2018, 15:52Livery looks a lot better than last year, if you are going to have a pink car it should at least be bold.
