RAVENOL will supplying its lubricants directly to Force India's development center at Silverstone. That's interesting wording...will they be using them in the car then? Or using them to lubricate something else at the development centre??
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

sounds like the same like RoshFrans.

they're not on the website anymore - i must say i'm not aware since how long.
I know they made the multi-year deal back in 2014 and 2015.

In 2016 Quaker State took over from Roshfrans, and also supplied them in 2017

'Ravenol' is simply the 'new' supplier after RoshFrans and then Quaker State.

Roshfrans didn't 'supply' the F1 car engines with actual motor oil lubricants (neither did Quaker State) - that doesn't mean however that they are a name only. Many parts need lubrification. Something as simple as the steering wheel column. So at the very least that's what will be.....lubrificated.

Ravenol is a german brand, and i think it's not too far fetched to see that BWT [ a german brand ] probably has been a 'catalyst' in bringing Ravenol to them/attracting attention.

Nicolas Latifi will drive the Friday free practice for Force India at his home race in June at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. It will be his debut in F1.

For a British drinks company I have never heard of them before had a quick Google they don't seem to be a massive operation

Edit - after looking deeper it seems they provide drinks to fairly exclusive clients posh hotels and some racing teams. Which might explain why my poor self hasn't heard of them before.

One does wonder though how well a energy drink can do at that level people in those places most likely are not interested in energy drinks as they are mainly used by teens and young adults. Young adults rich enough to stay in these places are most likely sports stars which probably can't drink these drinks due to diet

Could be wrong I just don't see someone at a top hotel in London as the website implies drinking what is basically a red bull over the many other drinks on offer to them

they're no stranger to sport.

the livery would surely be a JPS-style black and gold, so that would mean an end so soon to BWT?!!

Image

would also mean we're going to see Toby Sowery in F1
Image

This young British race driver is the next big thing. Having dominated Formula 3 he is now winning races for Lamborghini in the Trofeo series and has very serious aspirations to race in F1. Fuelled by Rich Energy.
lol.

They're partners with Mercedes already. Would surely mean exit Perez, enter Sowery alongside Ocon - unless Ocon moves to AMG fast.

it must be said though, sounds a pit posh all of it. some 'unknown' 6-year old energy drinks company that is able to cough up enough money to buy force india?

"Rich Energy: Total current assets: £451,381.00, Total current liabilities: £449,457.00, Current net worth £-1,360,641.00 (yes, minus one million)"

Found this info in the comment sections of an article and I don't know how far it's accurate, but if it's true, even with projected growth where Putinesque and his Oligarch buddies improve the sales of this "elite" drink, who in their right mind would be willing to 200 million pounds and back this purchase?

Buying an F1 team with such a financial standing, now that's rich.

I sincerely hope this is just another silly rumor.

In Spain having "hornes" means you are cheated by your partner, so not great advertising, I remember when Mitsubitshi changed "Pajero" model to " Montero" because Pajero in Spanish means Wanker

Livery looks a lot better than last year, if you are going to have a pink car it should at least be bold.

I like it as well. I love this team for being so colourful in F1, they have always been like that. Not only on- but also off the track.
