From this video, it seems that the Ferrari keeps its short gearing:

Personally I would like to seem them go somewhere we don't race. Change it up often could help assess new tracks that want to have a race.BrunoH wrote:Jerez is not so good for simulation, Estoril was used in the 90´s because it was a good all around track... might be a better track to simulate different tracks of the championship
Well Spain is good for no one's factory and is not that much warmer than just using Silverstone which is on the door of all but 3 teams.Sieper wrote:But it has to be somewhere warm and preferably not too far removed from the factories. That does not leave too many options open.
The quote I saw said was something like "these teams had big problems today", he's just trying to deflect attention away from their hub issue.
Quite possibly. McL official summary of the day seemed to really downplay the wheelnut issue as well. I’m inclined to take them at their word for now because if it’s a real issue in the coming days, it will become very very clear that they lied.Unc1eM0nty wrote: ↑27 Feb 2018, 00:00The quote I saw said was something like "these teams had big problems today", he's just trying to deflect attention away from their hub issue.

Well if the failure was just a random defect and when he went out again it was the same part design used and it lasted then there shouldn't be any issues.Macklaren wrote:Quite possibly. Was aiming for closer place, but with temps there teams could do more testing / dev.
@2:43 why is McLaren testing last season's car?Juzh wrote: ↑26 Feb 2018, 20:45Lots of cars having moments in turn 1/2, that includes the ferrari at 4:41. Though from what I've seen on the official stream it did look by far the most planted of the cars running at that time (no red bull though).
