Yes it looks like it, maybe the reason there is still no S duct present, as we know that the S duct is creating drag

Though there looks to be an intake for the S Duct under the nose... which is odd.

It’s my understanding that the roll hoop is an integral part of the tub. Making that larger is a massive job, literally back to the drawing board and no way that gets done before Australia. Does anyone have any images of ‘naked’ tubs so we can see if this is true?
I thought some teams have the roll hoop inside the airbox intake??
No, it’s part of the monocoque structure

Yes, but I thought some teams, Mercedes in particular springs to mind, have the rollhoop part of the monocoque inside the fairings that form the airbox intake. You can see the narrower rollhoop visible when you look into the airbox opening.

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

That's there since yesterday, with total of 5 holes on each side.

Will they test any new parts tomorrow?

Edit:

Vandoorne:

And yet another failure this morning :(

I hope the road car part of McLaren is a different company, as I can see the F1 team getting in some financial trouble if this carry's on.

i'm not sure what you mean. The shape and size of the air intake is defined by the structural airbox shape that is part of the monocoque. You can't make that bigger without changing the monocoque. Anyway, who knows if it's even part of the issue!

Its a turbo failure according to AMuS. Since the Renault engine's turbo is at the back of the engine, (in the region of where the burn marks are?), could this be related to their overheating issues?
