one team that impressed me the most is Hass. i think they will surprise in melbourne.
Cant decide if you are serious or just trolling? You basically said the same #$%#$^ on the previous page.

Judging from your rating, I assume trolling

i dont think any driver is cursed but the major problem with that car is not enough cooling. Its the size zero concept and it hard to get enough cooling. i hope they sort out their issues but its getting very late
Oil leaks have absolutely nothing to do with cooling
And its HAAS, not HASS #-o

That. I do think HAAS are looking better than I expected, if they really moved beyond the tyre/break issues now, that's promising, but of course, we'll see how the diverse upgrade packages shuffle the field slightly in Melbourne.

Looks like it was not an oil leak, but a total engine failure.

Debatable... oil falling on a hot exhaust would produce the same symptoms as shown in that photo. I imagine we'll find out soon enough though.

""Engine... Five laps"

Is apparently what Alonso said when walking back to the motor home.

Here's a video of the car breaking down:

The sound is... not good.

Them two comparison pics are silly. They are at different angles.

Indeed. It was already smoking its head off and then that noise as you say isn't good. However unless I'm mistaken the ICE was still running after something had died.

I am afraid of gearbox to engine teething problems ....
By the way what is the made of STR gearbox?
I loved the iconic McLaren-Honda
But most of all i love McLaren . After all first contact made with M23 that had a Ford Cosworth PU

Interesting as that is, isn't the first part of T3 more about rear end grip? (At least that's my impression driving on this circuit in race-sims  )

Actually, the Hamilton's line is the better one.
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” - George Bernard Shaw

The only problem with that is that as much as the grinding noise fits does blue smoke pouring out of the back support it?
