It does look that way, and it would make sense. It seems Mclaren may be putting all their focus on the floor/diffuser now. Would be nice to get a shot under the car, although that generally means crashing, so I can wait for that...!
This also explains a little more why they went for that specific rear suspension setup. With more air passing through that area the gains from greater aerodynamic efficiency are a little more pronounced.
