I don't think the collision damaged his car. It was Vandoornes front wing which touched gaslys tyre. Gasly could have got a puncture but didn't

Probably this was not just the tire. It should be fixed after the pit stop but he continued to be not competitive even against Hartley with much more older tires. I think there was some problem that was getting worse and worse. The final laps when the other passed him, his front tires were completely destroyed which is not normal.

Every race they have something and lose any possibility to take points... It's starting to bother me that when there is no accident, they mess it with the strategy. With all this, I expect no points in the future...

tyres gave up in just last laps . they should have left hime for some lap before pitting , well missed oportunities. silverstone next.

Gasly pitted and the issue was sorted with new tyres. Gaslys car wasn't damaged afaik.

Hartley might just be better at something called tyre management. He's not an endurance champion for no reason you know

I said this at the start of the season, before a wheel was turned. Hartley would definitely have an edge, if nowhere else, tyre management, fuel saving (lift and coast), the benefits of Endurance racing. Tough day at the office no doubt, no time to dwell too much, on to Silverstone.
