Tyres have been gone for far too long... Literally just gave away 3 positions with less than 10 laps left. Hartley was actually catching Gasly on older tyres! Shows who can manage a little better.
I said this at the start of the season, before a wheel was turned. Hartley would definitely have an edge, if nowhere else, tyre management, fuel saving (lift and coast), the benefits of Endurance racing. Tough day at the office no doubt, no time to dwell too much, on to Silverstone.
