He really doesn't. Ferrari still has the best package, and the best PU. He's nearly guaranteed to win Spa, Monza and perhaps even Singapore on the trot post-summer break.

Since Spain, I actually think Merc is slightly better (0.1 sec ) If we exclude Monaco which is a very special track, out of 6 races Merc had 4 poles. The two Vettel got (Canada and Germany), Hamilton (or his car/luck -canada with the bird in the brake duck, this week his fly over curb+loss of hydrolics) botched it.
This sounds like you think that Hamilton can only lose when there are issues.foxmulder_ms wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 21:44Since Spain, I actually think Merc is slightly better (0.1 sec ) If we exclude Monaco which is a very special track, out of 6 races Merc had 4 poles. Nearly guaranteed? Are we assuming Merc has packed it in and given up on developing the W09?
Never underestimate the package Merc create every year for these two tracks. Furthermore Hamilton is very very good at Monza due to his late braking abilities. Red Bull also create very good aero low DF package every year and they'll be probably very close.

Good point, teacher.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 14:30You were correct, don't worry. If you'd meant a smaller number you'd have said "fewer soft tyres".Vasconia wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 10:47Exactly, sorry because I was too lazy to use the appropiate term for each tyre.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑24 Jul 2018, 09:46
He meant that the tyres they are bringing are less soft i.e. harder.
Most forecasts show temperatures of 28-31C for the race weekend, with isolated thunderstorms.Vasconia wrote: ↑25 Jul 2018, 09:04http://www.myweather2.com/Motor-Racing/ ... spx?sday=4
As expected hot temperatures for the upcoming race, I guess Ferrari will be happy.
Why??FrukostScones wrote: ↑25 Jul 2018, 09:57If RAI won't win on Sunday, he will never win an F1 GP again.
I am not a great fan of this track but when it rains we have enjoyed some spectacular races.
