Maybe its time for Red Bull to start the process to sell Toro Rosso. They dont seem to have much coming through in terms of young talent. Dan Ticktum is all they really have and he is a fair way off yet, especially after his incident that had him banned for 2yrs!godlameroso wrote: ↑05 Aug 2018, 12:54Gasly would be good at Red Bull, but who is going to fill the seats at TR?
I agree, Gasly would be great along side Max. I'd be willing to bet Gasly will win the points battle with him, imo he's far more mature than Max ever has been.godlameroso wrote: ↑05 Aug 2018, 12:54Gasly would be good at Red Bull, but who is going to fill the seats at TR?

I think Carlos will have no choice but to return to TR. I hope Hartley can stick around and have a decent season too.
no i dont think that is wise, because max will get a seat with Mercedes in a few years, and then redbull is stuck with hartly
I know this was intended as a giggle, but it does have its advantages. There has to be a reason they are keeping him on at STR, it is not on his driving ability. If he is a very good development driver, it could well be worth giving him a year to bed the Honda engine.
And I thought the tyres was his strong point this year...Just_a_fan wrote: ↑05 Aug 2018, 18:56Hartley is hardly a bad driver but he has struggled with F1 and its particular foibles - particularly the tyres. He was plenty quick enough in the WEC.
