Maybe not super on topic, as these seem to be on all cars (but this pic is from the SF71!) - but I'm interested to know what these small 'bumps' are on the floor?

As I said, most cars have had them for quite a while, but I'm not sure what the function is. Are they meant to house something, like a camera, temperature sensor maybe (looks to be pointing towards the rear tyres)?

Whatever they are, does anyone have a clear image of what they look like from the 'opening' side? I'm interested in the SF71 specifically, but I expect its the same for all cars so I'm not too worried from which car any pics come from.

I assume that they'll run the spoon RW and it looked like the stacked wastegate came with an inverted spoon wing which might be too draggy for Spa. There it still a possibility that the new wastegate arrangement is something like a DRD.
If it's just for more DF I don't understand why they didn't use it at Hungary.
The diffuser point could be right, I admit.
I hope both is true - more stuff to look at

Yes and the article says that Merc will do the same. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Why not?

Ok thanks, just curious to understand.

Could be that the wastegate arrangement required the new PU to deliver its intended effect - previous tests could have simply been to gauge the aero effect.

Toto was saying that they would take their time until they could figure out what Ferrari was doing... but then again it's Toto.
