Isn't that just the AOA setting being different?mclaren111 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2019, 12:42https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D2wnB7KX0AEl4BZ.jpg:largewesley123 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2019, 11:50What is different about it, though?mclaren111 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2019, 10:49https://cdn-9.motorsport.com/images/mgl ... wing-1.jpg

Oh wait, there is a contour change to the top element and the metal part is different too.Coefficient wrote: ↑29 Mar 2019, 13:24Isn't that just the AOA setting being different?mclaren111 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2019, 12:42https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D2wnB7KX0AEl4BZ.jpg:largewesley123 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2019, 11:50

The boomerang is thinner to match the area that has been cut out in the floor... Wondering which drove the change, a change to the floor or a change to the boomerang.diffuser wrote:Nice comparison AUS vs Bar
I’m hoping that would be the case!PhillipM wrote:Same, although I was a race out with the boomerang and bb upgrades, so maybe next time out?
I wonder how the 0.5sec deficit is distributed between the Power Unit and chassis, could the bigger deficit be in the PU?SmallSoldier wrote: ↑29 Mar 2019, 16:24I’m hoping that would be the case!PhillipM wrote:Same, although I was a race out with the boomerang and bb upgrades, so maybe next time out?
At least they are showing development and upgrades “faster” than in previous seasons (or is it that they are more visible)... Hoping that the data keeps correlating.
I have to admit that Sainz comments yesterday weren’t very encouraging... According to him, the team is at least 0,5 seconds from Haas... That means that they need to find at least 0.8 seconds to 1 second in development this year to match them (considering that Haas will also develop their car).
That’s a huge amount of time to gain only from an aero/chassis perspective in within the season.
