Yes, that's weird.
To the mods: Please move the last 3 posts to the Ferrari Power Unit thread. I should have posted it there. It's the right place for this. Sorry for that.
I don't think very much, because I think by lap 51, Leclerc and his engineer had already determined that they had to drop down into lower power modes to conserve fuel.
I think it is more a case of Vettel not being very happy with car balance during the race. Leclerc was happy with his car and could thus extract more of it. Vettel lost pace compared to very early. It was clear he struggled way more. Hope they find answers for his balance liking. And that reliability is looked out for too.selvam_e2002 wrote: ↑01 Apr 2019, 20:40It is my assumption that, ferrari tried two modes with each driver to see how engine works during the race distance.
1. Lecrec with full qualification mode i.e more power from engine and ERS
2. Vettel with normal racing mode(conservative) so it won't affect the engine.
They may try to understand how far they can push the engine. But It is just an assumption and only Ferrari knows how they operate the engine in race with two drivers.
Great info. Notice how the red line brakes faster than the blue line (it's very clear cause they even intersect in every braking zone except for one). This can be indication that the rear brakes are not fully active cause the regeneration is impaired and not only a pure ICE power issue like a cylinder cutoff would in theory be. Some people also mentioned the red regenerating lights were gone after the issue too.LM10 wrote: ↑01 Apr 2019, 20:55Telemetry of Leclerc before and after the issue.

We all know that. For you it's all about bashing a driver and praising another with your desperate wish that the latter gets Vettels car. It's boring and sad.GoranF1 wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 18:29Italian Media on Vettel.

I agree.
I don't understand why you guys are giving him attention. Most of his posts are just provocation and Alonso related. Heck he has 200ish reputation points. Ridiculous.marvin78 wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 20:12We all know that. For you it's all about bashing a driver and praising another with your desperate wish that the latter gets Vettels car. I agree.
You’re the biggest troll I know on this forum. For some reason Vettel seems to have traumatized you. You just can’t let I go. I can’t imagine how big your hatred towards Vettel must be, in order for you to come to the Ferrari thread every now and then and start producing anti-Vettel statements out of your backside.GoranF1 wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 18:29Italian Media on Vettel.

I agree.
I notice the same acceleration after every time he hits full throtle. That indicates MGU-K was working fine and his hybrid system seems to charge as normal.LM10 wrote: ↑01 Apr 2019, 20:55Telemetry of Leclerc before and after the issue.
