Front
I think they already have updates in the pipeline to solve front-end grip issues. Probable ETA Barcelona. Regardless, Baku should be much stronger given track characteristics.mclaren113 wrote: ↑13 Apr 2019, 15:38So mclaren will suffer most of the season unless they find a solution for their front end?
Maybe the setup favours race pace over qualy pace? But from interviews they seemed encouraged by the FP pace and then qualifying turned out to be the way they originally anticipated.M840TR wrote: ↑13 Apr 2019, 17:56Is it possible that the car was faster and they just messed up the setup? I mean, they lost 0.4 sec from Fp2 to Fp3
while they should be gaining...
Bottas: Fp2 1:33.3 --> Fp3 1:32.8 --> Q3 1:31.5
Hulkenberg: Fp2: 1:34.0 --> Fp3 1:33.9 --> Q3 1:32.9
Sainz: Fp2 1:34.1 --> Fp3 1:34.5 --> Q2 1:33.5

It is possible but if they were already dialed in for FP2 then cooler track temp from FP3 being earlier in the day would mean you'd be slower.M840TR wrote: ↑13 Apr 2019, 17:56Is it possible that the car was faster and they just messed up the setup? I mean, they lost 0.4 sec from Fp2 to Fp3
