Good race. One Ferrari beaten and Gasly gets the fastest lap.

That Honda engine looks seriously good and reliable. Albon caught Gio even without DRS.

Waiting for the Renault boys to show up clips of how Renault is so much faster.
Bad race for RBR..speed defect is huge..in straights and in corners..engine and chassis aren't good enough to challenge the front two!

55 points. This year it is 52. By the way last year both Max and Daniel had DNFs in Bahrain.

Not bad, as they only have one real driver in 2019 so far. ;)

China was a stronger race than Bahrain, and that's saying something because the race wasn't a strong one for redbull.
The car seems to have a pretty good chassis, and treats the tyres better than the other top cars but it's just not fast enough to threaten the top 2 cars. It is arguable that last year's car was a stronger car relatively.

As for Gasly, it's painful watching him fall off 30 seconds in the race to Max. Max is up there pushing the ferraris and Gasly is round the back figuring things out on the car. They should give him to the halfway point to sort himself out.
For Sure!!

Horner struggling so hard to not say there’s a power deficit in his interview with Ted.

Will be interesting to see how the relationship goes.

I think we should reserve judgment until the Upgrades come as we know Red Bull develop well.

Or he is so used to blame others that he has to put alot effort not to say anything. :)

So, they chose to bring that joker Kvyat back. i guess that is how Marko wants to fight the mid field battle. What a ridiculous driver Kvyat is. Absolutely no idea where to put the car and has no sense of other cars around him. Last race, it was Giovinazzi and now it is both the McLarens.

The problem is people assuming after the engine switch, there would be no teething problems. This is kinda like a reset for Red Bull and I think they're doing pretty well, it's unfortunate that their spokesperson instead of being optimistic, but cautious, chose to brag and make all sorts of declarations.
I still believe it's a solid and very impressive start to the partnership, with a large scope for improvement. There"s reason to be positive, Gasly on the other hand.....
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

The engine switch and integration is not the main problem. They still lack on power, it's evident as the speed traps do show they are among the slowest. Of course Horner and nobody at Redbull is going to blame Honda right now, but Honda still has some catching up to do. Chassis wise, they are no longer the best, but imo are better than Ferrari. Merc has the best chassis this year, there is little question about that.

Alonso is way too overated, he hardly beat Button and Norris was matching his pace in pdactice and testing. Albon is a much better driver than Norris.
Anyways forecast is for strong winds and lower temperature. Redbull didnt like the wind in Bahrain, hopefully they have rectified their setup.
It's OK to not to like Alonso, no crime there. But to say he's overrated is crazy talk. In 2016 with a more reliable car, he out qualified Button 15-5 and out scored him 54 points to 21.
It's very unlikely he joins but not a shabby option.

this .. they always start the season with basic PU focusing on reliability then adding performance with updates
so updating the PU and the chassis in Spain or Monaco and we should get into the serious business.
perhaps half a second total from both sides...
para bellum.
