Kimi to start from pits! That is P9 for SAI and free tyre choice.

There is a good chance he will be faster than Norris at the beginning, I wonder how will the team handle this situation.

He has slower tyres that are difficult to warm up. Softs will be significantly quicker for the first 8-10 laps.

So?
Sergio Perez is no longer only pay driver in Mclaren history.
I'm not sure you understand what a pay driver is, Lando earned his seat, as did Perez tbh, a person's wealth doesn't determine their driver status, by your logic Lewis Hamilton is also a pay driver since he the wealthiest guy on the grid
i don't wanna start a useless discussion but i think you don't understand the term "paydriver"
in the early days you could buy yourself a seat in F1, so this is a word that is used for drivers that brings in a lot of money to secure themselves a seat in F1 (like Stroll)

BUT .... the term paydriver is incorrect anyway... because ALL drivers bringing sponsors with them when they enter the motorsport at 1 point, with this sponsors the driver can say "here, this is my sponsor, you don't have to pay me that much, when..."

so when do we talk about a paydriver? when we talk about Stroll, who got his seat because daddy bought the team or when we talk about Perez, who brings a big sponsor with him?

A pay driver is someone who wouldn't have a seat without the money they bring, i.e Stroll, Maldonado, Sirotkin (arguably Perez this season).

Having a sponsor doesn't make you a pay driver, it's called advertising if that were the case then even Raikkonen would be considered a pay driver

Perez if free, might have been a good fit at McLaren. He's talented and McLaren would have loved his cash.

This is off topic but I like your signature. It should be the motto of Mclaren from now on if we need to return to the top and dominate. Now on topic Fingers Crossed for a clean start and if an extra position is gained compared to Kvyat and Perez it is acceptable. Most of all however we need a clean start.

He's got softs on.

Why aren't they putting Sainz in the pits? He's losing time.

I have a feeling Sainz was screwed a little here by the strategy.

Should have pitted Sainz a little earlier. Would be nice if we could remove the roadblock in the Racing Pointless

That Racing Pointless has a really fast Mercedes engine that gives them an annoying advantage.

On another note Sainz is the faster of our drivers and I think he should try and get Perez.

Sainz was told to pit, and then Perez pitted so McLaren told Sainz to stay out. Unfortunately didn't work out. Still the team didn't lose any points, Norris and Sainz exchanged places. Hopefully they can catch Perez at the end of the race.
