Mainplane is mostly the same but the flaps taper even more like Ferrari.

Tyres a more of a deciding factor according to Vettel. So their aero may not be all that bad but it's being limited by something else.tranquility2k4 wrote: ↑09 May 2019, 10:43The car does look pretty awesome from the front now. It looks like this should in theory push them into a clear 4th spot. What I find a tad strange is that it has been noted that McLaren is front-limited and maybe lacks a bit of front downforce and therefore struggled more at China than they did at Bahrain (and to an extent Baku), much like Ferrari, and yet they have gone more towards Ferrari's FW concept, when many people are speculating Ferrari may adjust this due to the issues they have had in generating enough front downforce for low speed corners. Any thoughts on this?
PhilipM mentioned that he heard the update that was expected for Barcelona has now been pushed to Canada, which is when teams usually launch their 2nd spec. He didn’t say the reason for the schedule change though.
So no reliability improvements for this weekend?Ground Effect wrote: ↑09 May 2019, 13:23PhilipM mentioned that he heard the update that was expected for Barcelona has now been pushed to Canada, which is when teams usually launch their 2nd spec. No idea, we'll have to wait and see... Don't know if they'll have any reliability updates that won't require any if the penalty related components changes, i.e changing the ICE, turbo, H or KNiyolHuayra wrote: ↑09 May 2019, 13:26So no reliability improvements for this weekend?Ground Effect wrote: ↑09 May 2019, 13:23PhilipM mentioned that he heard the update that was expected for Barcelona has now been pushed to Canada, which is when teams usually launch their 2nd spec.
