So he's never crashed because he went flat out into a double waved yellow flag situation.
And he's never ever pushed other drivers off the track? Especially not at high speed on a straight?
And he's never ever been accused of brake testing people? And certainly not on more than one occasion.
And he's never sulked and pulled a team apart because he wasn't given preferential treatment over his team mate? Nor has he ever admitted to benefiting from another teams data? (let us not forget that just last year the only people ever named as having been directly using the Ferrari data were Coughlan, Alonso, and de la Rosa).
Alonso is a great driver and I cheered him on for his two titles - despite my hatred of his Brazil crash under waved yellows which almost put me off him completely. I don't think much of him as a team player and hold him responsible for a large part of the problems at McLaren last year - but that is off track behavior and doesn't really affect my judgment of his on track behavior.
From a sportsmanship perspective he has been particularly good on track this season, not too bad last season, but before that he really was not terribly sporting on all occasions. He's certainly had his moments.
