On Friday, in the 39 degrees heat we now know hurts Merc, they were 7 tenths ahead on the mediums and their medium times were also faster than a short stint of Verstappen on the softs. This is dominating pace. So yes a second ahead is reasonable to expect give or take 1 tenth.

What do I see here? Ferrari fastest on Softs and Hards. Down on a second on Mediums but Vettel did only 4 laps and was also quite slow compared to Kimi and Ricciardo. Not really comparable therefor. As Ferrari is out for the race tomorrow I think Merc and RB (Max) will be closely matched in terms of race pace, slight advantage for Merc as they seem to have higher engine modes available in the race for longer periods of time.

Crucial is the Merc on mediums bekng faster than softs, so it is then only about mediums vs hards. And the one fast on hards is gonna start on the back.
