I have owned Harleys and other bikes including the aforementioned Black Shadow bought as a basket case when I was in high school. I had it about 98% together when I took it for a test drive and scared the heck out of myself and promptly sold it.![]()
I have owned or ridden bikes literally from A (AJS) to Z (Zundapp). Other than British iron I think my favorite might well have been an R50. Smooth as glass and rock solid dependable.
