Could be for more KPI to make the new pushrod system more effective, could simply be there's an aero advantage there that wasn't an option previously until they modified the pushrods because it compromised too much mechanically, etc. You won't really know for sure without chatting to the team or spotting complimentary updates.NiyolHuayra wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 12:46
Why would the go with even higher mounting point? Any knowledge on this?
Unless it's a trick of the light, this photo appears to show a load-bearing mounting arm sheathed within the wishbone. I'd imagine that when under heavy load the mounting point will shorten and slide back into the wishbone rather than the previous setup where the mounting point was fixed atop the attachment point. Would a system such as this be legal (movable devices etc.)?
Looks like the steering arm is up there?NiyolHuayra wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 12:46Why would the go with even higher mounting point? Any knowledge on this?

What is the point of those brackets? What do they do?
Steering arms are either side of the rack.ringo wrote: ↑31 Aug 2019, 05:47Looks like the steering arm is up there?NiyolHuayra wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 12:46Why would the go with even higher mounting point? Any knowledge on this?
