Is there any place where we can find what the deal is worth? Would be nice to know. Also, does principal partner equate to title sponsorship?
The BAT has already said that they will not be the title sponsor. Nothing is heard about the financial part.

BAT is the main partner, can we call it titular?

It's reportedly around $25m for the current deal so maybe close to $35m then. This is the next best thing after title sponsorship.

Zak says core papaya will remain, so let’s hope it’s a great combination.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Add in healthy boosts from various sponsors, including British American Tobacco and its ‘A Better Tomorrow’ message (believed to be worth upwards of $30m)

I see it as a title sponsor, but for obvious reasons they don't want to call it a title sponsorship.

BAT:
The enhanced deal includes:

Significantly increased branding positions on the Formula 1 car – including highly visible new sidepod branding, inside halo and front wing branding positions
A commitment for the two companies to co-create marketing content to drive increased awareness of the partnership
Partnering with McLaren for its return to the full-time IndyCar competition in 2020, which will see 17 races take place across the U.S.
A continued commitment for BAT and McLaren Applied Technologies to work together on developing innovation with application in BAT’s New Category portfolio
The 2020 season will continue to see BAT vary its branding – through its “dynamic branding” approach – in support of its transformation agenda and broad portfolio of New Category products, at all times in line with applicable regulation and legislation. This will include branding for BAT’s leading vapour range, VUSE, and its modern oral product, VELO.

Let's hope it's a big increase in money...

Carlos Sainz: We need to do everything right. In Abu Dhabi, a start outside the top ten can give an advantage in choosing a strategy. If you go to the finals of qualification and show the seventh time, this does not guarantee points in the race, because you are in a disadvantageous situation with tires. This is the problem.

That figure is from the BAT sponsorship.

If BAT is vying Ito take on Phillip Morris over market share of the vaping industry I imagine McLaren are in for a very big pay-day indeed, especially now sealing 4th will have proved to BAT they are back-on track with car design.

BAT will definitely want to beat Ferrari on track and like PM they also have very deep pockets - this could end up like the good old days😀, it’s just a pity there is a budget cap coming

Luckily it doesn’t kick-in for another 12 months so I hope a huge investment will be made next year on 2021s car, and I expect McLaren will easily be able to spend the max under the budget cap scheme from 2021 onwards, with plenty of cash spare for non-budget capped areas of expenditure like driver salaries etc.

I understand that if they're gonna allow it, might as well take the money. If not someone else will... It will not be long before it gets banned.

"The current car has strengths and weaknesses. For example. This year the front (spoiler, front end and suspension) has been a weakness from the beginning and we have tried to understand why and how to correct it. Just as a good one has been done I work to know what features of the car avoid other problems.

Yep, Sainz is faster though. He was faster the whole time in Quali and made a mistake in the first Sector in the final lap. Think all the bcking up to start that last lap ...he ended up with cold tire in that first sector ...

Sainz's setup is using less wing, I noticed his top speed in the straights was 4 KPH faster.
