One thing is the Haas and Alfa have the same outwash front wing, so I'm assuming they're happy with it and getting more front load from the cape and tea tray

And they have to test it next week and learn from the testing, more than mess about trying to kid other teams' aeros :)

2018, in fact 2019 was the only year they went launch to Melbourne with the same car i can remember.

if you'd look carefully, you could almost see the underside of SF1000's diffuser through the floor/mirror.

Looks like Ferrari have stuck with leaving a lot of the cooling equipment in the side pod area, instead.

The small, triangular roll hoop inlet and the larger shark fin surface both paired well last year, and it looks like they have further refined that concept for 2020.

The “devil horns” on the air box sides make sense with that approach. They brought back an old design concept, just like when Merc brought back the cape.

Really appreciate how all the top 3 cars look this year.

Do you think they will keep that nose?

Seeing that everyone has now a slim one, I'll be surprised if Ferrari keep again this one

Yes so the Alfa that seems 2019 like, the Alpha which is 2019 RBR and the Haas which is 2019 Ferrari :mrgreen:

On the other hand, Mclaren, RBR, Mercedes, Renault at least will get slime nose

If we don't see a slimmer one in the 2nd week of testing we won't see one at all. But I'd say there's a good chance we see a slimmer one next week

a slim nose would imply a new homologation procedure and crash test well before the track debut
Those tests take place in official structures so the news is public and will appear on media.
So it is very unlikely a slim nose in the near future

Yes, majority of cooling happens in sidepod area for them.

I agree with you. Can’t wait to see all these beasts in action soon.

I have to say i kinda expected them to copy the Alfa design and maximise the nostril size rather than go for a Merc nose which suddenly got popular in the final year of these rules.

Apparently neither one was the way to go....
