Renault’s protest is in regards to the front and rear brakes cooling of the RP... There could be something there!

Question what is this Scenario 7? Second time I hear that Scenario 7 and the car suddenly flies. Is it possible to make Scenario 7 possible for all the race?

Pretty sure its an engine mode or perhaps battery deployment related.

Nope due to additional wear especially as the PU components need to last several races.

It's probably connected to the engine power. It seems that they have Scenarios 1 to 8, probably higher you go, more power you have but you do more damage to the engine.

When you have a Mercedes engine, you probably can run in higher modes for longer times. Renault looks to have the power when in higher modes, but not sure how long they can keep running it.

Not the worst strategy! Lol

But... The fact that is related to specific parts may actually have an impact, the “whole” car was already ruled as legal... Interesting

The way the engineer was coaching him I would assume it is related to use and recovery of power. Hold the overtake button, single press etc. Not recovering means more power at the wheels, but still needed to recharge.
Probably crossed the line with empty cells :D

It might mean that Renault has insider knowledge. If a couple of parts weren't visible by photographs yet Racing Point was able to copy them, it would be proof of either spying or copying.

RacingPoint now needs to show how they developed the part.

That’s a good point actually, rear brake ducts in particular are not out in clear display in the way the front wing or bargeboards are so if they are found to be identical then there might be a case.

Personally I can’t see it coming to anything but if it does we might see them being allowed to continue with the car but expelled from the constructors championship in the same way as McLaren did in 2007.

Yeah I agree. Still think they use 'Yellow G_' for engine power

Actually, the brake ducts are pretty visible... Now, if the internals are also fairly similar, that would be an issue

So, the stewards have ruled the protest “admissible”, so more evidence needs to be gathered before a ruling. So if they get excluded, Carlos moves up to P7.... but let’s not get ahead of ourselves...
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

If they deem the Pink Mercedes illegal what about the points they got in the first race? Remember that Mclaren paid a heavy fine 12 years back from that Spygate and that is as equivalent as a Spygate since the Mercedes Technical team helped them copy last years car without saying anything to the FIA.
