Sorry I don't understand? It's just a more precise measurement of what the teams already get from the FIA (better quality GPS data than the public)
Power curves etc are a good order of magnitude or more valuable than gps data. With GPS data the other teams have to do a lot more work. For example they have to try and estimate/account for how much downforce/drag their opponents have across the velocity envelope, how good their opponents suspension system is etc. Power curves make all that work go away.
Yeah, that's my point exactly. Sorry I thought you didn't understand earlier and misread my post. I guess you just don't agree. IMO It would make estimating where one team is relative to the other more accurate, which let's ones allocate resources more efficiently and improve competition. Not anticompetitive afaict, but more competitive. But each to their own.
