Mercedes feels they are being unfairly targeted on the behest of Red Bull and Ferrari. A TD should be to stop people exploiting rules, not to simply take away an advantage, without a clear explanation. They are not happy that FIA has not provided a proper clarification on this action.
How you can be sure their advantages not coming from exploiting rules ? All your and their defending are unlogical about that fact "if you will be faster in race trim with the new td why you are against it ?" Show them/us what you have in race instead of Q.
When they talked they say they want to have close fight but when something happened to possibly bring it they just cry. This is not for the first time fia tries to stop ( if this is for it, I am suspicious about that ) a team domination.
I have no clue where their advantage is coming from or whether it is legal or not, just like the rest of the world. Neither does FIA, Honda, Renault or Ferrari know. I would assume, you believe this TD is going to stop any kind of exploitation. Right? So you support this and believe this would make the PUs to conform to legality? Beyond this, you would stop questioning the legality of Mercedes, because this TD is going to stop them from doing anything illegal?
Because Mercedes was resisting this TD, they are worried about losing advantage. That is your point Right? We will get answers in a few hours. For now, I would stick to my point that, Mercedes is unhappy because FIA is playing to the gallery of Red Bull and Ferrari, without explaining why this TD is being issued mid-season.
