The reason they extended the limit there is that, according to grosjean, it is hard to see that turn1.

Did max made mistake or didn't get a chance for fast lap on softs? 'cause his fastest time is on mediums

as far as I can remember, all channels were made accessible a couple of years ago. Secret chats or anything like that are not allowed anymore. But usually there are probably some guys in the factory listening to the other teams, not the drivers ;)
