Just a comment on Bottas drive, He finished 25 sec behind possibly the best driver of all time, who had a fantastic record breaking race. Bottas being compared to Albon is absolutely ridiculous!! If Albon finished 25 sec behind Max, he would have been 4th and everyone would have been raving about Albon being great and RedBull should keep him. Bottas is being good, Lewis being unbelievable. Give the guy a some credit! He's up against the very best. Albon finshed about 80 seconds behind Max !

Senna won his first race in Portugal.

Hamilton breaks the win record in Portugal.

Appropriate.
He could clinch the titile in Istanbul, and that would also be very fitting, when you consider his 2006 gp2 race there was basically a statement of intent.

Pushing the narrative that Bottas is a terrible driver is a way to try and demonstrate Hamilton is only an average/good driver for anyone who may be that way inclined.

I think wherever Hamilton's record will end up it will never be broken. With the budget cap now enforced no team/driver should be able to dominate for years.

Gasly Albon swap when?
Plus this is silly season talk and they have said Gasly isn't considered for RedBull anyways.
We’ll see. They can’t deny GAS has been stellar. If they indeed hold him at AlphaT that would be very stupid.
Yup the only CONSTANT that I see here is that Albon needs to leave.

Who will be next to Max next year is anyone's Guess. But I think if Albon needed Portimao to make his case he didn't and Gasly/Perez have made their case quite well for why Albon should be out.

The fact that Gasly/Perez steadily moved forward slowly getting faster and both moved up the field both finished ahead of him.

Albons job was to finish P4/P5 instead he gets lapped by his teammate and passed by his rival's.

I know the reasons you are saying make sense, and I pretty much fully agree, but people said that when Michael raised the bar.

Bottas is a joke, burning his tires now everytime in the first rounds.
Put Leclerc or Max next to Hamilton, only that way he can prove he is so great. Now it’s just cruising in history longest dominant car against shitty teammates.

It would be criminal if one of Perez or Russell didn’t have a drive next season when you compare their relative talent to some of the other guys on the grid.

Watched carlos' on board, it's quite clear Max goes wider and wider and wider until he hits perez. This was no different than Ham vs albon @ Austria. The double standards are staggering.

Already "proved" whatever he had to when he went up against Alonso and Button and Rosberg. Get back to the race discussion.

I don't agree. You cannot judge a driver who drives for a single team.

Max 6 years in RB -- Danial already beat him with same car however Max get team support similar to Vettel vs Webber.

Lecrec 2 years in Ferrari. + 1 year in Ferrari sister team. He never against challenging driver. We will see his true potential once Sainz along with him.

If you put the above two to either Ham or Alonso, they easly beat them in the track.

You need to judge a driver by how they adopt them self to the car not make the car for them.

Ferrari doing it for lecrec and RB developing it for Max.

If you come out from your comfort zone then only you can judge yourself with others.
