Very good job by Ocon today, didn't put a foot wrong all race.
Shame for Daniel tho, the team totally messed up the timing for his stop under VSC and very likely cost him a Podium or at least more points.
yes. Indeed. This is what I am trying to insist for last race. Ocon is doing good as much as Ric. if Ric next year in Renault car, I bet Ocon will beat him or equals him in Quali and race.
After one year of absent, Ocon is doing good job.
15/1 in Qualifying now
Its been a complete and utter smackdown all year!!!
and yes last race you called Ric "average" when he overtook Ocon on track in the final stint with the same tyres, then was a MASSIVE 1 second a lap quicker and ended up a few cars ahead on merit.

Ric made Ocon look like a complete backmarker and instead of saying what a phenomenal driver you call Ric average?
When Ric and Ocon put the hammer down in clear air on the same strategy in a race there is no comparison which we have seen all year long. Its like comparing Albon to Max or Hamilton to Bottas. Yet now you claim Ocon will beat Ric next year if he stayed?
This race Ocon did a fantastic job, stayed out of trouble and kept a cool head, well done Ocon for the podium. Ocon though had some luck on his side, started on a new set of tyres as he qualified outside the top 10, went much deeper, and got vastly superior pitt strategies. Not to mention a bit of luck Mercs Max, out of position/crash issues.
Not taking away anything from Ocon but you cannot also in turn say Ocon doing as good a job as Ric all year long. Maybe this race he matched Ric (with luck and strategy) but definately not over an entire season.
Especially now you claiming Ocon will beat or match Ric in qualy and race if Ric stayed next year because of that podium while ignoring the rest of the year.
