The article suggested they’ve also got one eye on the 2025 rules, and with the infrastructure and equipment they will obviously acquire, they could continue as a works team and build their own engines, possibly in collaboration with a manufacturer. So, isn’t that something McLaren could also look into from 2025 onwards? How cheap, simple would the new engines need to be for it to make sense for McLaren to take up, with maybe a partner?

Money up front is the only thing which would be acceptable. But brand image would suffer and i am certain Zak is smart enough to stay away.
